But a Moment

There is expansion.
A rememberance-- stars unfold secrets.
Beds of knowledge, unkempt,
reach me through peep hole moments.
The prodigious events of humanity send me a-flutter,
but upon wings of absolution I am bent.
The expression is momentary,
an eye blink.
However, my distortion displays
an undying notion
of serenity
amidst the mirror.

Letting GO...Letting God

Ok, so those of you who read the word God, run and hide.  That word, for many, means death and condemnation.  I use the term God like someone else uses the term source, creator, or universe.  It is all interchangeable and by no means am I trying to single anyone out.  I am trying to go beyond religion into a more spiritual space.   If you are willing to have an open mind then of course this blog could be for you, if not I wish you well on your travels.  I know you will find your way somehow.

In the past few weeks I have run into a brick wall.  I realized that I have been angry at God.  Angry at the source energy that created me, but more importantly angry at myself.  I am trying to run the show again.  Trying to wield my human axe and take names.  I found that I was getting heady and very full of myself.  Arrogant if you will.  I have ultimately been edging God out, or more appropriately, running with my friend the ego.

The way I found this out was by doing a significant self inventory.  You see I have been busy building a wall for the last 36 years a wall made up of the bricks of guilt, shame, fear, unforgiveness, disdain, selfishness, separation, pride, arrogance, embarrassment, and heartbreak all held together by the mortar of resentment.  I am a healer so carrying the weight of this wall causes me to fall considerably short of being able to heal anything.  It is said, you can't give away what you don't yourself already have.  Long story short I had health and healing but the seeds of fear, that insidiously crafty and most patient of emotions was lying in wait for me.  Waiting for a chance to infiltrate any cracks in my spiritual foundation.  It found a few.  Needless to say I began doing some pretty serious work.

I had begun by asking God to do work alongside of me.  It takes a miracle to dismantle behavior that you have no control over.  Admitting powerlessness over people, places, and things gets the ball rolling.   It is near impossible to create anything new by doing the same things over and over again and hoping for a change in outcome.  It ain't gonna happen!  We rely on ourselves to get us moving forward not realizing that all around us is a power greater than us orchestrating an amazing universe.  Remember the last time you were at the beach the awesome power of the tide and the wind.  The intense groundedness you felt in an ocean of salt, the cleanliness of your energy after having bathed in a body of water that supports all manner of life forms?  Did a dude create that?  Nah, no dude that I can conceive of.

My point.  There is a power amidst us that is so much more intelligent and benevolent.  It creates and runs the show on our behalf.   Ask a physicist about the awe she feels in the presence of the atom and all of those forces that work behind the scenes to keep matter at its smallest form working in perfect harmony.  What human can even do that?  I don't know about you, but for me trying to remember that the garbage goes out on Monday is hard enough.

Anyway, back to the post.  I began pulling and dismantling this wall of fear, hurt, and resentments.  I again realized that I need something bigger than life to believe in; something along the lines of miracles.  And it gets better.  Miracles do happen!  You just have to let them in.  You have to surrender.  A concept so alien to humanity at large.  We have been taught for thousands of years that surrender is defeat, that only the strong survive, that there is weakness in admitting defeat.  Well here goes, I surrender!  I admit that I cannot possibly create a solution to a problem I have created because obviously I don't have the elevated consciousness yet to live in the solution since I am too keen on dwelling in the problem.  Does this make me flawed?  No, it makes me human.  It makes me have to get on my knees and realize that if I keep being angry at myself for certain things, I am going to keep myself separate and miserable.

The only way back to wholeness and healing is to love yourself into alignment.  To begin to accept even the darkness that is a part of you.  We are multi-faceted people we are capable of feeling, and choosing and being. We are even so blessed as to believe we are worthless.  Yet there is one thing that can make us whole again and that is simply having faith in something that is bigger than our problems.  I know off hand that when my problems get "big" I can't think myself out of the box I'm in.  I have to get on my knees. I have to ask for help and I have to believe that help is coming. Most importantly, I have to get the hell out of my own way.  I am not going to generate solutions through unwillingness.  You get free, and stay free, when and only when you have the willingness to transform your life.

The walls we create are scary and yet they are designed by a part of us that has become the victim of  beliefs that were instilled in us through teachings handed down by men of long ago.  These teachings are telling us that we are separate from our source; separate and even despised by the very power that created us.  I for one cannot believe this anymore.  I believe that we are all source energy, God energy, universal energy.  Did you catch that?  In fact all of us have the gift to elevate our world, by singing our soul song with love and joy through gratitude and humility.  The message here is think more about God, less about your problems.  Think more about love, think more about joy and health and allow yourself to transform.  Let God do for you what you cannot begin to do for yourself.

Until next time...Be well

A Clear Focus

When your sight is unobscured and you see directly in front of you where you want to go, it's much easier to get there.  Do you have a clear definitive vision for yourself?  Do you know exactly what it is you want to create, be do, or have?  If you answered yes then please read no further.  If, however you are wandering aimlessly with no direction whatsoever, then please feel free to read the rest of this blog, it may help you become clear.

Life is supposed to be good it is supposed to yield unto you the very things you want, but I find many times when we want something we allow ourselves to get too distracted.  Distractions come in all shapes and sizes.  Some that top the list are the internet, cell phones, and the endless list of things that keep us unfocused and unable to devote laser precise focus on our dreams.

All to often we make goals and then never really revisit them.  It is imperative that when you set a goal you revisit that goal several times a year if not monthly.  You have to be honest with yourself and see how much or how little progress you are making towards the attainment of your goals.  Most people start off strong but then get side-tracked and utterly give up altogether.  The reason we tend to do this is simply because we have lost sight of the very thing we are aiming to accomplish.

If your goal is to become wealthy, you must define wealth for yourself.  What does it mean to be wealthy?  How wealthy and to what degree do you believe that the wealth you seek is inspiring enough to achieve.  When you can truly sit and become honest with yourself and develop reasons and a strong enough why, you then will call to you the very people, places, and things to aid you in your attainment of wealth.

Setting a goal is imperative, as it is a tool that lets you become focused.  The focus is the key to realizing the completion of the act.  The next step is to dwell upon this goal as if the goal has been achieved.  Feel your way into feeling good as if you have already completed the action.  What does it feel like to be wealthy, to have lost the weight, to get the new car, to be financially free.  Feeling as if is the catalyst of creation.  Feeling your way into being is the secret that unlocks the beingness.

If you can act as if and it isn't hard, it just takes practice.  If you can act as if you can then begin to offer a whole new vibration that becomes cooperative with the flow of the universe, and in so doing you are then acting and having faith.  If on the other hand you have to see to believe then you will keep the very goal you want to accomplish always just out of reach.  When you are aligned with your vision and you begin acting as if, you develop passion and it is the passion that stirs to life all the "coincidental" things that allow you to attain your vision.

We have at our disposal the gift of imagination, and it is imagination that ushers us into the realm of possibilities.  When we imagine ourselves from the end result we create inspiration and then the necessary actions or "logical" steps forward reveal themselves.  If we feel guided to take those steps then it is imperative to do so, because it is the action that will guide us forward.

Think about this, if you have a glass of water on the table and you hope and pray and try coaxing the water into your mouth, it ain't gonna get where you want it to be unless you actually take the action to pick up the glass.  This is the same rule in our universe you have to spawn the desire but then it is up to you to take the action required to get the result.  If you dwell upon the goal long enough the universe will yield unto you the steps to take even if those steps seem illogical.

Always gear your feelings toward the action.  If you feel joy and elation then take the action.  If something feels off then you must either have to find the inspiration within to align with the step or you must do something different.  In either case letting go of resistance is always the key.  When you feel as though something is off, honor those feelings and begin to refocus your vision again.  You must always be in alignment first and then the action is easy, but if you are not a match to the action then doing whatever it is that you must do is going to yield results that won't be so great.

Passion, passion, passion that is the key and you must always take a moment to feel passionate about your passion.  Goals will always be attainable if you revisit your passion and your why's.  Make your why so strong that all you would really have to do is remember the reason you want this thing so badly and you will always reinvigorate your ability to realize the goal.

Hope this helps and until next time...Be well and live with passion

Love is louder.

Love transcends fear in every instance.   Love is a leap in the direction of that which feels good.  Love is the energy that creates worlds and the force which allows the human body to thrive.  There is no limit to how much love we create or how much we experience.   When we embrace the very essence of love at our core we become bright and inviting, and its whisper is louder than any slings or arrows.

Love is non-consuming, it shows up in the actions of truth, integrity, and happiness.  Love is ever evolving but non-diminutive.  It is a reservoir with no end and simply needs to be called upon to be received.   The more we choose love the louder it becomes.  So loud in fact that the heart swells and the mind expands.  A smile, head held up, and shoulders relaxed with nothing more than a deep breath and you have summoned love.

There is simplicity in love and anytime there isn't the ego is afoot.  The ego is afraid of love for it knows that love creates; the ego would rather destroy because its function is to keep you separate, but in this illusion lies love as well, for this device of the mind is merely a self centered form of love.   True love will always topple the walls of the ego for in actuality nothing outside of love exists.

We, now, more than ever must begin to aid love in cracking apart the walls that we have created.  Our very survival depends on this, for humankind is at a cross-roads; a division in thinking, being, and acting.  All around is polarity and collectively we must for the sake of our humanness develop our ability to love and create joy in all circumstances.  We must do this by being the reflection of the very world we wish to live.  Ghandi said it best when he told us to be the change.

Small steps are all that is required for love to build a conflagration within the heart and mind.  When you experience love you cherish love because it cleanses you, warms you, and revives.  Small steps toward loving the world begins by first loving yourself enough to care about how you feel.  How you feel will always change until you've learned to feel good.  Gratitude is the equal feeling of love in all situations and it is gratitude that releases the ego.

There is never any need to judge another, for even in their misalignment, they too are supported by love in every instance.  Remember it is simply the judgement you place on any situation that gives it worth.  I challenge you to open your heart and send love to anyone and everyone today, tomorrow, the entire week ahead.  The person who cuts you down, the arrogant person who says despicable things, the slob, the lazy friend(all just labels by the way), give these people love especially.  Love yourselves and everyone else this way.  Remember Love is louder.

Until next time...be well

A wonderful life starts with love

We each have needs, desires, and wants.  We are all meant to live as abundantly as possible.  Life is a series of events consistently teaching us to remain unwavering in our attitude.  Attitude is everything.  It is the difference between being in a box of self containment, or tearing the roof off and living vibrantly.  Self containment is simply living as if the sky is falling; as if the day is never going to end.

I have made many choices recently, to live as if I had all of my hearts desires.  To live as though I were a reflection of the universal love we all have access to.  Being human causes me to forget these choices; i get lost in my head sometimes and I have to remember to pretend my reality into being.

I had the most memorable four months I can ever remember, just a sip of a love I never had imagined.  It was something that you won't ever forget and something even harder to let go of.  Men seem to have a harder time with this stuff than women do.  I think it's simply because we aren't as tuned into the Earth as well as women are.  Whatever it is, I know that I was given a gift and I hope that one day I can re-open that feeling with someone new.

Love is all around us. It is the smile from a stranger, the changing color of the leaves, the strong shine of an unwavering sun, the hug from a friend.  Love never dies, it just changes form, ebbing and flowing, waxing or expanding but it never leaves.  We must remain steadfast and noble in our development to realize this truth.  We must have had to suffer a false belief in our losing it at one point or another to finally realize this simple truth.  Love is all there really ever is.

Choosing love over fear is simply a choice, it a matter of perspective and of living.  The more life in your years the more you can truly allow yourself to grow towards love.  To coalesce and ultimately merge with the innate power of the universe.  Someone once told me that I was worthy of such love, because I existed and the universe does not create meaninglessly.  Truth be told I shed tears of joy upon hearing that, because I have struggled with worthiness my whole life.

I choose to dwell on what is right in my small world.  I choose to see the experiences of my life as brave and bold choices that have propelled me into an existence worthy of love.  I need to thrive and so the love I give is merely that which is then given unto me, but I don't give love expecting to receive its bounty, I give love for loves' sake.  Our ever unfolding lives reflect this dynamic, the more love you give the bigger your world expands.

until next time...be well

How to feel better...

Hey all and thanks for reading...

The Law of Attraction (loa) stuff has created a lot of beliefs throughout the world.  Whatever your beliefs around the subject I can safely say that in my experience, this stuff works.  Loa works so well, in fact, that you can consciously choose to use it, by choosing the feelings you offer.  Most people at this point will say "bullshit, I tried it and it doesn't work!"  The only reason you may ever experience the Law not working, is that somewhere in your emotional make-up you are still offereing resistance to your own well-being.  I don't mean this in a derogatory way because you wouldn't consciously keep yourself from your own well-being.

Do you have something stirring within yourself that keeps you shut down?  Are you quick to offer a  negative comment than a positive one?  Are you focused on more things to worry about than you are stuff to feel joy about?  If throughout the day you find yourself complaining more than rejoicing, then you have become shut-off from your own well being.  This simply means that you have become trained in offereing a vibe that doesn't allow life to be a celebration.  Instead of experiencing joy you tend to experience more things to be disgruntled with.  To make life extremely easy, realize that there are really only two feelings. One feels good and on feels bad.  All the labels we have for our feelings come from two basic feelings and those are love or fear. You either feel on or you feel off.

Feelings of positivity, joy, appreciation, gratitude and happiness are those feelings which cause us all to feel alive; feelings that all stem from love.  An example, waking up in the morning and just knowing the day is going to be great.  You sail through the day and experience more and more to feel good about.  Everything just flows and your life seems to go well, drum roll.  But wait, sombody says or does something and suddenly you feel awful.  What happened?

What happened is that your continual practiced offereing of "isn't it terrible that" caused you to look at something you have labled as "bad".  You looked at that "bad" thing and by doing so you let it in. You let it in because with real force, with real intense frustration or anger or jealousy you labeled it and whatever you label, you put into your focus.   If, emotionally speaking, you are really put off by something you will call it to yourself quicker because what is disliked is often done so with intense passion.  Emotions are the elixers of life. They illicit creation by your offering of them.

What can you do about this?  How do you handle anything that you do not like?  With patience and practice.  You have to find a way to interupt yourself in the midst of looking upon the very thing that pisses you off.  You have to, with small steps, change your focus.  The following is a process that works for me, give it a whirl.  Oh, and feel free to use the way you want to as this is something you can make your own.

As I am encountering things throughout my day that may cause me to shout no or feel bad, I first become aware that I am feeling off. I then breath and give myself permission to feel what I am feeling.  Sometimes I permit myself to feel terrible for hours replaying the issue over and over; sound familiar?  Eventually as I feel what I am feeling I will, through the breath work realize that I am wanting to feel better.  Wanting to feel better propels me in the direction of having to do so.  Placing my thoughts in this new direction builds and builds and then voila, I am refocusing my efforts in a different direction.

Feeling better is the only thing that matters and I become compelled selfishly so, to become a cooperative component of my own well-being.  I reach for anything that feels better; a look in the direction to days at the beach, dwelling on how amazing it would be to fly, remembering the day my son was born, or the passion of a kiss.  I become cooperative with my inner self and I then change my frequency and from there I get back on track and I begin to feel amazing.  To simplistic you say, well that is the beauty of this process, it is simple and quite effective the best things in life usually are!

Anyway, I hope this might help and I trust that this offereing will get into the minds of those it was meant for, those of you willing to become conscious co-creators.  The universe is an ever evolving and inherently loving place and I hope you find the joy you seek.   You are loved, so much so, that you can choose to believe otherwise. You are all worthy of being happy and having abundance, so until next time be well.

Momentum Massage

Hey there,so this is my first blog post and I decided to give it a whirl using a contest. Here is the contest.

From Oct. 25th until Dec 20th, I will give you several chances to be entered into a drawing to win a 6th gen. 8gb Ipod nano touch, or a Barnes and Noble Nook wi-fi. Here's how:
1) You and a friend book a massage for the same day= both entered.
2) Buy a prepaid package of 3 or 6 massages= entered
3) Buy a gift certificate... during any of these days = an entry per gc bought ie. buy 6 and get entered 6 times.

Why do you need a massage? Well let's see, why does your car need an oil change? Oh yeah to keep it running properly. Your body is made up of tubes, fluids, organs, and organ systems. Guess what? In order to get these systems to run optimally, they need some love in the form of movement, diet, and wellness. Massage helps in this department.

Massage promotes wellness, helps move fluid, and promotes relaxation as well as an overall good feeling in the body and mind. So give it a try, I promise you will be amazed.
